That twisted twisted mind of Romain Gavras can produce pure awesomeness (not a big fan of his more violent work however). The camera work in this video is amazing and -really- could the imagery be more appropriate for this amazing song?

In research for ideas and inspiration on how to make a collection/preview video -among other things- I found this gem here: Chicago-based menswear line J.Cheikh teamed with Mike Ruiz for their new collection and released an eye-catching, really impressive preview video for their Spring/Summer 2012 line.
I was blown away by the awesome graphics in the video -and the video in general. Then, I was blown away to find that the director Ryan Fukuda, the editor and graphic designer Alex Deaton and the cinematographer Paul Kane are all (fellow) Columbia College Chicago alumni!

I'm not sure if we'll ever get it officially here, but I am so fascinated by the idea! So with the Nike+FuelBand, Nike intoduces NikeFuel, (hello there, new favorite metric system!).
I cannot wait to get my paws on one of these. Or better, get one of these on my paw. Then I'll just have to discover more new stuff to do. Plus: I will be able to finally measure the impact of my new obsession; the Tabata workout.

My sister (being the one of two musicians in the family), brought this pure awesomeness to my attention (after discovering it with the other musician in the family: my brother).
(Jarle) Bernhoft is, basically, a one man band; and an awesome band, that is. Solidarity Breaks, his second solo album, was released early 2011 and topped the charts in Norway, his home-country, over the summer.

So, "if you dread the wet don't fret." (I should sell them this as a tagline!) Just waterproof everything with this unbelievable spray. They even tried it on an iPhone (in another video) and it even got a call underwater! I would definitely coat my whole car: inside-out and I also have a couple of pairs of shoes which could use a good coating.

In the context of intense daydreaming and "dreaming" in general, I found myself being drawn to location imagery and landscapes lately. (No, I have no intention to shift to landscape photography. As a matter of fact, I think I'd be really bad at it.) However, I think I will be posting a bit more of pictures of places that fascinate me and/or houses/spaces that inspire me in any way.
So, I bumped on this Malibu beach house, aptly dubbed, "The Ultimate Bachelor Beach House" and I couldn't help but vision me in there. (I'd be a bit overwhelmed by all the white) This place had me at hello, with the workout deck & the fitness balls waiting for me there and everything. Now, If I only knew how to barbecue…
