I was complaining that my MacBookPro's battery is causing my Mac to shutdown while it's still charged at 60%, and then I saw this video... at least mine didn't literally fly out the window...
Now let me see you PC people make your laptops do this...
I could/would never say that I am a fan of Bryan Adam's music, no, not even of one of his tunes... His photography portfolio though is a totally different story.
After seeing his name in one of my monthly fashion mags, I looked a bit into it and discovered (doh!) that he also works as a fashion photographer!! (can he please stop singing though?) I likey!
To celebrate the Bank of Cyprus’s 110 year anniversary Hypermedia - multimedia studio from Nicosia, Cypurs - was asked to design an exhibition that would pay tribute to the Bank’s pioneers and their vision and tracking the main milestones in the its history and the important historical events over the period. The exhibition is a tribute to man and his energy, to the way in which the birth of an idea, ground-breaking perceptions and single-minded vision may lead to the implementation of goals, to the realization of a dream; in this way reminding each and every one of us that nothing is impossible.
I have to say, this was a very pleasant surprise in the mainly disappointing visual mess that occurs in my country, Cyprus, right now! Amazing design, animations, interactive interface and typography!
Oh so envious! This is an awesome, and I mean AWEsome, student project by Andrew Alger and Brian Twigg at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design. Great typography, great graphics, cool video, and some pretty nicely made clay stop-motion animation clips.
Currently working on this mini project, which I should be finishing up in the next days to upload on my website. Shot impromptu at a friends' house over the Easter holidays.
Though it's just starting, I think it would save a lot of trouble for many people who travel with pets. But most importantly, it is definitely more humane than shoving your pet in a cage which will followingly be shoved in the cargo space of the aircraft. (The service is available for some major cities in the US, and should be expanding soon)
By the way, I love how the blonde attendant waves a la Queen at the end of the advertisement.
Found this a few months ago (when it was still raining here, so that's many months back) while I was on my way home late at night. It's funny how it kept working despite the fact that it was practically parallel to the sidewalk...
