Minimalist TV Show Posters
The word "awesome" is one of the most used in this blog. But, I guess, that's what blogging is about: awesome stuff, right? These cool posters were made by Art Director Albert Exergian (whose other work samples are very impressive too).

Design For Obama
Barack Obama is a great example of how good design is a powerful weapon. Progressively enough, he was not afraid to invest in design, gaining an excellent brand, a powerful communication package and the respect of artists from all over the world.
I'm a huge fan of Taschen, and a huge fan of what designers from all over the world did for Obama during the most visually-driven presidential campaign in history. So, this book definitely goes on my Christmas list.
About the book from Taschen.com:
Edited by designforobama.org founder Aaron Perry-Zucker and filmmaker Spike Lee, this collection showcases over 200 of the best pro-Obama posters. Contributors range from prominent graphic and street artists to young up-and-comers. With essays by Spike Lee, Perry-Zucker, and design historian Steven Heller, this outstanding collection serves as a matchless historical document of the widespread visual creativity that helped spur Obama to victory.

Gag(a) On This
Okay, I know this is getting a bit annoying with me posting Gaga stuff all the time, but really now, when everything (else) in the pop world feels the same; perfectly polished, pretty and full of industry-inflicted, image-refining, stereotype-defining restrictions on other people's craft, it's great to see that someone (other than Madonna, the occasional copycat) is keeping it real...
Though "fresh" wouldn't be the most appropriate word to describe what Gaga does, let alone this video, "ravingly different" is much more representative of the overall Lady Gaga experience... In this video: there are so many good (and even more creepy) stuff going on that to me it was an awesome overwhelming sequence of eye candy (though I could do without the "huge eyeball" segment). The "floating gems" part and the LaChapelle-esque scene with the bed on fire are just jaw-droppingly good.
Directed by Francis Lawrence, with the (obvious) involvement of Haus of Gaga. Oh, and the song rocks!
ISO50 - Scott Hansen Artwork
I cannot even express the appreciation I have for this person's work, as a designer, musician, photographer etc. These are amongst the most recent posts on his blog.
The one on the left is the poster for an upcoming event in Toronto, while the one on the right is the artwork for his latest single release on vinyl, under the name Tycho.
The poster above is the latest addition and it's the promo poster for Scott Hansens' exhibition in Toronto.
Basement Jaxx - My Turn (Video)
It was about time Basement Jaxx came out with something new... Awesome video, infused with elements from the 80s, amazing fluorescent colors, beautiful grainy textures, and perfect animation, (and I could go on and on...).
Directed by Tomek Ducki. (via)
