Crossed Bridges, More to Cross.

So it’s been a hectic period since I last updated my blog. So many things happened since then; internal and external conflicts, confusion, struggles with deadlines, endless yet fruitful brainstorming -by myself for the most part- then I turned 30 and got the keys to my new place/studio (I need to go and connect the electric bill there) and then I remembered that memrants turned three and that I hadn't even noticed or shared anything on the matter.

In the next few days I hope to share some of the accumulated stuff that triggered ideas, offered inspiration and made things a bit easier these past few weeks.
Happy new beginnings!

Blogger's Blocks & Other Obstacles

I haven't posted anything since last Friday. I now know how the writer's block can affect blogging.

This past week or so I've been juggling between designing and illustrating publications, trying to setup my portfolio, finish up the Anna Koumoushi project and taking care of some pending creative and some not-so-creative errands.

Now, hopefully, posts should be rolling out on a regular basis!

No eulogies, no rest-in-peace lines, just a celebratory remembrance of a legendary artist.

Pause

After many hectic weeks, a series of unfortunate occurrences, a lost debit card, an unresolved issue with a wrong card PIN, and before an inevitably full schedule, I am finally going on holidays. Will be back on the 14th, hopefully with some new photos (Canon G9 on the loose!) from Peloponnese-Greece. Sea, sun, sand, and fun.

Pet Airways

Though it's just starting, I think it would save a lot of trouble for many people who travel with pets. But most importantly, it is definitely more humane than shoving your pet in a cage which will followingly be shoved in the cargo space of the aircraft. (The service is available for some major cities in the US, and should be expanding soon)

By the way, I love how the blonde attendant waves a la Queen at the end of the advertisement.
